The Ball is Rollin

We are buying a house! It has been a long and annoying and most the time hot, stinky, dirty but FUN hunt. So many houses here are foreclosed or short sales which are both annoying to deal with, this is the third offer we've had in now. We put the offer in a few months ago and then the bank came back and wanted $25,000 more than our offer. We told the bank to piss off (hahaha not really but those are Trevor's words) and then we proceeded to cancel it and make an offer on a newer house in Gilbert. Well down the road a day or two and that house went to foreclosure so that one was out too... About a week ago the bank came back and accepted our offer. We had no clue they were going to respond and when they would respond. We knew when we saw this house we wanted to do some major upgrades. The house is the same age as me and everything in the house is pretty much original. We haven't done any research on anything and now we have been in a mad mad rush the last few days trying to figure out everything. It's been stressing us out a smidge but we are so so SOOOO excited! We spent this last weekend looking at counters, cabinets and carpets and felt like we were doing real family things. We hope in the next few days we will have a better idea if things will really go through or not. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
